The winner of the Perpetual Trophy goes to MATTHEW TURNER ELEMENTARY SCHOOL for the overall highest percentage of participation. Congratulations, and watch that trophy because the other schools are eyeing it for next year!

Two Special Awards went to BENICIA MIDDLE SCHOOL for the overall highest number of participants and to BENICIA HIGH SCHOOL for the highest number of volunteers. Congratulations and thank you for your support!

2009-2010 Direct Donation Campaign Launched

Now more than ever, your BEF contribution is VITAL! Your direct donation to the Benicia Education Foundation will fund the Library and Technology Resource programs at your child’s school this 09-10 school year.

 "...The Benicia Education Foundation continues to do a tremendous job of supporting our students. Thanks to the BEF we can continue to support Library and Technology Resource programs at all schools for the upcoming year. Benicia is a community that cares about its children. As a community, we can continue to make children our priority by volunteering in our schools and in our community and we can support the BEF during the 2009-2010 school year. The next BEF board meeting is Wednesday, May 26, 2010 @ 7pm, at the offices of Gizzi and Reep in Benicia.  Please call for address and directions.
The Board of Directors normally meets the fourth Wednesday of most months except for December, June and July.  Please join us!
